Kairat, based in Kazakhstan, brings extensive expertise in sustainable development, economic policy, and investment promotion to his role in managing the company’s operations in the region.
Previously, he led the Astana Center of Sustainable Development, where he conducted in-depth research on socio-economic growth and provided critical insights and consulting to the Astana Municipality on development initiatives.
Kairat served as Vice Chairman of KaznexInvest, Kazakhstan’s National Export and Investment Agency, where he focused on promoting non-commodity exports, supporting industries beyond natural resources. His work included guiding the agency’s strategic direction and advancing Kazakhstan's economic diversification goals.
As an advisor to the Minister of Investment, Kairat contributed to key national projects, including the development of a Master Plan for sugar production from sugar beets. This initiative, recognized by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, was praised as one of the top agricultural plans submitted internationally.
Earlier in his career, Kairat led the Department of Socio-Economic Analysis, working on significant municipal projects, including the 2008 Anti-Crisis Program, waste management strategies, and improvements in housing and communal services.Kairat holds degrees from Michigan State University and Florida Atlantic University, having attended both on a Presidential Scholarship from the Republic of Kazakhstan. His background reflects a blend of technical knowledge, policy experience, and a commitment to sustainable development in Kazakhstan.
